The Corporate TB Pledge (CTP) initiative is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India and USAID\/ India with the objective of galvanising corporates to jointly work towards the shared vision of eliminating TB from the country. The initiative is being implemented by The International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases (The Union) as part of the USAID India-supported iDEFEAT TB Project.<\/p>\n\n

Aim of the initiative<\/strong>: To galvanize and engage the corporate sector in TB elimination efforts in the country
\nObjectives of the initiative:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Create awareness, promote screening and treatment adherence in workplace and community settings<\/li>\n\t
Leverage CSR resources for TB programs<\/li>\n\t
Providing technical support and recognize the good work of corporates involved in TB programs<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

CTP has been working across diverse stakeholders such as the PSUs, Tea Industry, Engineering, Corporate Hospitals, Textile, Oil and Natural Gas, Mining, Aerospace, Banking and Automobiles etc. These corporates have supported more than 100 CSR project in TB at various locations across the country. <\/p>\n\n
The pledge holders have also greatly supported the national programme through the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (PMTBMBA) as Ni-kshay Mitra(s).<\/p>\n\n
